About the Club

Eastnor Cricket Club is much more than just a cricket club it is a hub of activity and serves as the centre for a number of sporting and local social activities throughout the year. Following the successful planning, fundraising and building of the new Pavilion building which was completed in 2014 and opened by England Ashes Winner Simon Jones MBE, Eastnor has a facility the club are very proud of which is also serving the wider community.

New members both playing and social are warmly welcomed by the club and our fantastic ground set in the shadow of Eastnor Castle is a beautiful setting to play or watch some cricket and maybe enjoy a drink from the bar.

For the more active member the club has a thriving junior cricket section run by fully qualified coaches and management team. Boys and girls ages 5 to 15 take part in this section of the club, which also enters teams at various age groups in the Herefordshire Junior Cricket League.

The senior cricket side of the club currently has two adult Saturday teams in the Worcester County League and also a Sunday friendly side providing plenty of opportunity for players of all abilities to enjoy a regular or occasional game.

Eastnor are also proud to welcome many touring teams during the season and also play host to Herefordshire County Cricket Club in various formats of the game as well as the Herefordshire Over 50’s team.

The hardworking committee provide a wide range of social functions throughout the year for all to enjoy while raising vital funds for the club and events vary from quiz nights, beetle drives and a variety of entertaining evenings at Eastnor Castle to the regular weekly lottery draw.
